Behind every smiling Foundation support worker, team leader or other staff member is Leeanne Mason. Leeanne is our office manager and her role is certainly varied: along with human resources, administration and payroll, her job is to support back of house processes and to keep our staff smiling.
Leeanne was asked some interesting questions, her answers provide a good insight into her life and personality.

Background – parents, town you were brought up in
Daughter of Heather and Robert, I was raised in a small country town in Victoria, when I was of age, I moved to Melbourne as soon as I could!.
What is it you most enjoy about your work?
The staff, variety and Mary Challenges.
Favourite holiday destination and why?
The South Coast, where we get cheap accommodation and there is lots to do! (Diving, kayaking, and relaxing!)
Favourite Foods and why?
Hamburger, it has all the five food groups. And Chocolate of course!
If you could choose the colour of grass, what would you pick and why?
Brown. Wait, mine is already that colour!
If you were an animal which would you be?
A cat, and sleep as much as possible!
Which photo / picture of yourself do you remember mostly, when you first think of one that is and why?
In front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, it reminds me of doing something I loved, facing the challenges of travelling on my own and making it home!
Which one word, of the many thousands, would you pick and why?
“Fairdinkum!” I just like to be sure that people say what they mean!
Tell us about your work with the Foundation, what do you do and who do you work with?
My position is as Office Manager for the Foundation. I endeavour to keep all things payroll, finance, and administrative organised. I work mostly with suppliers and staff in the Foundation and try to make sure there is money for Xmas!
What would be the first thing you wished for?
10 more wishes! After which I would wish for more time to do all I would like to do!
