The Mental Health Foundation (ACT) receives support and funding from a range of organisations, including that of government and business.
 
The Foundation would like to thank and acknowledge its supporters, specifically their ongoing and positive commitment to mental health in our Canberra community.

The ACT Government, through their departments of: ACT Health; Disability, Housing and Community Services; artsACT; and the Chief Minister’s Department, support and fund the Foundation to deliver a range of mental health services and programs in our Canberra community. Services and programs include:

  • Friendship House
  • Information and Referral
  • Skills for Life
  • Friendship House
  • Outreach
  • Imperfectly Sane
  • Other small projects, specifically in areas for women, seniors and carers

The Ross Divett Foundation is a public fund, initiated by Centrelink staff to support the Australian community. They have recently provided funding support for the Foundation’s Peer Support Program.

Blake Dawson provides legal services to Australia's leading corporations and institutions as well as global corporations and government. They currently assist the Foundation with pro bono legal work.
o

The Australian Government’s Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs provide, through the Foundation, an invaluable service called Personal Helpers and Mentors (PHaM).
 
As part of their mental health branch, funding has been made available for a new service to open shortly for Carer Respite in South Canberra.
